Physical Science

Physical science is a full year course that explores the scientific laws that God created to govern the physical world. Using Apologia Physical Science 2nd Edition, we will cover a variety of topics from hydrology and structure of the earth and atmosphere to Newton's laws, electromagnetism, and waves. High school credit can be given for students 8th grade and above for physical or earth science. In class we will do weekly labs, quizzes. Every week includes at least one hands-on experiment. Outside of class there will be daily homework and tests that are proctored by the parents so that we have more time together to do experiments. Parents will need to grade all homework and tests, which allows you to still be involved and "in the loop". I will keep a record of all grades and send out periodic progress reports as well as final grades. All materials included with class fee: textbook, solutions manual, and class supplies.
